BIOGRAPHY
Born in 1982, I’m an Italian freelance documentary photographer. I’m currently based in Turin, working on editorial and corporate assignments. In parallel, I carry on my personal research. My works often explore identity construction processes, collective imageries, and boundary territories. These evolving scenarios reflect my personal life path: prior to photography, in 2009 I graduated in Aerospace Engineering at the Polytechnic University of Turin. Between 2010 and 2014, I lived among Brussels, Turin, and Geneva, working mainly in academia. Back in Italy I completely devoted myself to photography. In 2015 I attended the Luz Academy school of photojournalism in Milan. Since 2019 I am contributor at Parallelozero agency. My pictures have been exhibited inside Les Rencontres d’Arles festival, Photolux, Photaumnales, Gazebook Sicily Photobook Festival and Museum of Contemporary Art of Castello di Rivoli.
I collaborate to branded content projects, including Arab Bank Switzerland, Miroglio textile, Intesa San Paolo, Harman Kardon, Edoardo Garrone Foundation, GAJA winery, Borgo Sant'Anna 1 star Michelin restaurant, Bellissimo, Sketchin, Fightbean, PAV Torino, Waycap, Timex watches, IxDA, Tourist Board of Langhe Monferrato and Roero, Explora inLombardia, Bjcem.
My pictures appeared in Vogue, Internazionale, La Repubblica, Corriere della Sera, Club Oenologique, ADAC Reisemagazin.
In October 2023 I published a personal book called "Custodi" (keepers) in collaboration with Magnum Photos. The book condense 16 stories of people who represent or protect an historical, cultural, natural or spiritual heritage of Sirmione.
